APG Gallery Exhibits 2010

DELIVERY OF ACCEPTED WORK

Photos must be framed, with hanging wire attached to the frame.
Label each piece with: title, price, artist's name and phone number. Include a price for an unframed, unmatted print if you would like to give buyers that option (strongly recommended).
Deliver to the APG Gallery May 5 - 7, 2010.
PHOTOGRAPHER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING AND INSURANCE FEES.
Include payment for return shipment (including shipping insurance).
APG will not be responsible for any shipping damage. APG will bill the photographer for any additional shipping costs incurred.

SALES

APG takes a 30% commission on works sold during the show.

VOLUNTEERING

APG is operated by members who volunteer for various tasks. If you are chosen for this show and live in the Atlanta area please set aside one day to attend the gallery, or volunteer to help with the opening or installation of the exhibition. EMERGING VISIONS 2010 DEADLINES AND RULES

Deadlines

Entries Due: January 1 - April 5, 2010
Notification: April 16, 2010 (ONLY selected photographers will be notified)
Art Delivery: May 5 - 7, 2010
Show Dates: May 14 - June 18, 2010
Opening: Friday, May 14, 2010 7:30-10:00 PM
Juror Talk: Saturday, May 15, 2010
10:30 AM - Coffee / 11:00 AM - Talk
Closing: June 18, 2010
Pick Up Date: June 19, 2010

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all students residing in the United States, eighteen years or older, and enrolled full-time in a college-level curriculum. Images previously accepted in a juried APG show are ineligible for submission to Emerging Visions.

Submit 5 to 15 photographs, plus an artist's statement in pdf format.

PICKUP AFTER SHOW CLOSING

Photographs can be picked up at the gallery on Saturday, June 19, 2010.
Please note that any photographs not picked up from the APG Gallery within 60 days of the scheduled pickup will be considered abandoned by the artist and become the property of the Atlanta Photography Group.

LIABILITY

Every reasonable precaution will be taken to assure protection of selected work, but APG assumes no responsibility for loss or damage from any cause--including shipping. Works will be insured for the duration of the show while on gallery premises. Any entries delivered without statement of insurance value will automatically be assigned a maximum value of $200.00. Any other insurance will be the responsibility of the artist. Entry fees are non-refundable.
